Chris Oyakhilome, a Nigerian pastor and television host, is the author. He is the president of Believers' LoveWorld Incorporated, also called Christ Embassy International. Chris Oyakhilome Background Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (or Chris Oyakhilome) was born on December 7, 1973 and was the son of Tim Oyakhilome as the first child. He went to primary and secondary school, then he went to Ambrose Alli University (AAU) in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria in which he earned an BSc. in Architecture. AAU also presented him with an honorary Doctor of Science award. He holds an honorary degree in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was married to Anita Obhodaghe once, and they have two children. Chris Oyakhilome's ministry While still at AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his path into ministry. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship was known at the time as Youths For Christ (YFC). YFC quickly grew and became the largest campus-based fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is home to the church's headquarters. Believer's LoveWorld, a worldwide ministry that has millions upon millions of associates around the world has been renamed Believers LoveWorld. Through theAtmosphere of Miracles series, BLW became Africa's most prominent Christian ministry through television. They stopped airing it in May 2004 when the president Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria announced that churches should cease broadcasting miracles. The organization was founded in 2005, to reach the needy, poor children, orphaned and vulnerable who are poor in the world. The foundation assists these deprived children and communities through sustainable and participatory interventions which include child development programs and childcare programs, family strengthening programmes, InnerCity Mission for Children School, etc. Trauma Care International Foundation The Trauma care International Foundation was established to increase the quality of life and the longevity within local communities and across nations. It also promotes improved emergency response services in case of emergencies and accidents. The foundation's mission is to support national policies concerning trauma treatment through advocacy, health education in the community, community-based programs, and advocacy. The foundation has run over 1000 first aid and safety training. Their records show that they have been able to educate thousands of students, teachers, law enforcers, caregivers and road transport workers. Volunteer Medical Corps The Volunteer Medical Corps is an international medical outreach for christians. It offers relief supplies as well as medical assistance as well as education to refugees and internally displaced individuals in the affected areas.
